A Company Posted This Painfully Honest Job Listing and People Are Freaking Out

A Company Posted This Painfully Honest Job Listing and People Are Freaking Out Time Out New York accidentally posted a painfully honest job advert for a photo editor, describing all of the unbearable working conditions that come with the role â€" and the Internet is going crazy. The hilarious post paints a picture of current employee “Melissa Sinclair’s” nightmarish situation as she’s forced to take on copious amounts of extra work to meet deadlines due to a lack of freelancers. Sinclair is apparently “swamped and overwhelmed” as she cannot find “good enough candidates” to fill the available freelance positions. The ad goes on to suggest that the company is worried Sinclair will get “burnt out or want to leave,” and notes that the firm has a “very busy” magazine schedule coming up next month. The advert, which appears to have been posted by Time out New York by mistake, was posted to job site Indeed. Um. @TimeOutNewYork has a very informative job posting for a photo editor.
